The Cardinal got right back on track this week.
A week after losing their first Pac-12 game in nearly two full years and dropping below the No. 2 spot in the AP poll for the first time in over a year, Stanford got right back on track this week.
The Cardinal took down both top-25 teams that came to Maples Pavilion, knocking off No. 8 Utah 72-64 on Friday and No. 24 Colorado 62-49 on Sunday. Stanford is holding steady at No. 3 in my poll and bounced back up to that spot in the overall poll in what was one of the least chaotic weeks of this women’s basketball season.
But the week ahead should bring that chaos right back, with at least 10 matchups between top-25 teams on the docket. It should be a delightful week.
