Bennedict Mathurin was the Pac-12 Player of the Year.
Pacers general manager Chad Buchanan got a glimpse of Mathurin's dedication to the franchise when Indiana hosted an individual workout for him on June 10.
"We've never had a draft prospect come in and finish his workout and shower and go eat and come back and work out again, so that was a very good sign for us." Pacers president Kevin Pritchard and Carlisle spoke to Mathurin shortly after the NBA Draft Lottery concluded in Chicago last month, and Indiana met with him again later that week at the combine.
