enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2022. Brooks earned second-team All-Conference USA honors after producing nine pass breakups and three interceptions in 10 regular-season starts. Brooks appeared in 12 total contests.
Myles Brooks: I’m glad I made that decision. I think I proved to a lot of people that I can play at the next level. I feel like I addressed that question mark. The competition level was higher at Louisiana Tech than it was at Stephen F. Austin, especially in the FCS. It wasn’t the same. I proved I could translate to the next level. I did what I had to do.
JM: You have terrific size at 6-foot-1 and 201 pounds. You measured in at the NFL Scouting Combine. How do you use that to your advantage? JM: I personally think you have the feet to play man coverage, but I’ll ask you. Do you prefer zone or man?
