Nicholas Adair, 24, who coached girls gymnastics, captured “inappropriate pictures” during practices and competitions, according toState Police, along with officials from the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice, Morris County Prosecutor’s Office and federal Homeland Security Investigations launched an investigation into Adair early this year after a referral from other law enforcement agencies, authorities said.
Investigators last week served a search warrant at Adair’s home in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany, according to the State Police.“As a result, detectives seized Adair’s cell phone, which contained multiple files of child sexual abuse material,” the agency’s statement said. Adair was fired from his job at Paramount Gymnastics in Hillsborough on March 30, when staff were informed about the charges, the company owner said in an email.
Adair was being held at the Morris County Jail ahead of trial, according to authorities.
