The days since have been defined by constant communication between the impeachment managers. “We obviously meet multiple times every day and are emailing, texting back different thoughts and questions and practicing materials and discussing what works and what doesn’t work,” Schiff told me. “You can imagine, being in the midst of the cauldron like this, how it really forges you together.” Each manager described the days since Pelosi’s announcement as unrelenting. No one is sleeping.
