More than a dozen Republican leaders gathered inside the Nassau County GOP headquarters Wednesday, calling Santos a"disgraced congressman," a"fraud," and saying he's a stain on the district. They said they will not work with him, and there's no way he can be an effective member of Congress. The Nassau County GOP Committee helped Santos get elected, but now its leaders are uniting with other local Republicans to spread what they're calling their strongest message to date.
