Christopher BumbacaOn Saturday, the Washington Nationals hit the streets of Washington, D.C., for their World Series parade, and with the Commissioner's Trophy in tow, they celebrated the franchise's first title with the city.
Thousands flocked to the National Mall to follow the parade route that began on Constitution Avenue and ended on Pennsylvania Avenue near the U.S. Capitol. Along the way, fans tossed beer cans to players, coaches and staff riding in the floats. The parade will conclude on a stage for a team rally, where members of the team can address the fans.
