The Spurs will have the first pick in June’s draft and will walk away from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn with the franchise-altering 19-year-old, 7-foot-4 Wembanyama. The center has been the driving force behind Boulogne-Levallois Metropolitans 92’s 20-10 record and France’s top-tier league in points with 21.5, along with 10.1 rebounds and 3.1 blocks per game.has earned plaudits from the man himself, with the Lakers star calling Wembanyama “a generational talent” and an “alien.”
He can shoot, handle the ball and comes with an 8-foot wingspan that has scouts and analysts clamoring to see him in the NBA.
