The current heat wave is expected to continue for several days across North Texas. Occasional waves of clouds and sprinkles may temper the heat from time to time, but the heat will win out during the afternoons.
Into the weekend, the pattern will remain quite hot Saturday with a Heat Advisory continuing. Highs will once again be in the triple digits. By Sunday, the pattern will shift just enough to allow for a slight chance of thunderstorms to return. This means we could get a one day reprieve from the triple digits on Sunday. Unfortunately next week will be quite hot with triple digit heat likely.Brief chance of a shower in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and hot. High: 102. Heat Index up to 110.
