Michael Marroquin, 63, of Nederland, Texas, was taken into custody on Thursday in connection to the riot at the U.S. Capitol in Washington on Jan. 6, 2021. He faces a felony charge and several misdemeanors.
TEXAS — Another Texan has been arrested and charged in connection to the riot at the U.S. Capitol in Washington on Jan. 6, 2021.
He made his initial court appeaance on Friday. Marroquin is charged with one felony and several misdemeanorsMore than 1,069 people have been arrested in connection to the events of Jan. 6 in all 50 states Investigators say Marroquin entered the Capitol at approximately 1:20 p.m. that day. His movements through the building, the DOJ said, were captured by a series of recordings made with his phone.
