's debut, Netflix has shared a special sneak peek which introduces us to Devi, "your favorite Hindu girl in the San Fernando Valley" who just wants to have some regular, standard-issue high school experiences.
In the new teaser, which you can watch below, we see Devi praying in front on an altar in her room and asking for specific things to happen in this new school year. At the top of Devi's list: Attend a party with "alcohol and hard drugs." Devi has no interest in actually partaking, but she would love the option to reject it. Also on Devi's list is a prayer request for a boyfriend, preferably a hot, "dumb" guy from one of the sports teams at her school.
