“They really varied in the time that they had been in Canada: some for 12 or 13 years and some for a month,” she added. They made sure everyone was limbered up, familiar with curling terms and given instruction in balance, sliding, throwing stones and sweeping them, and using their big “hurry hard” voices when necessary.Article content
