The television series, which is a sequel in continuity with the long-running Child's Play franchise , originally premiered on SYFY and the USA Network in October 2021. It follows Chucky returning to his hometown of Hackensack, New Jersey and making life murderously difficult for his new owner, outcast teen Jake Wheeler .
The teaser reveals that Chucky is in the most dangerous place he's ever been: the Oval Office of The White House. He has apparently become a companion to the President's son, and his infiltration of the President's inner sanctum includes threatening one of the U.S. leader's staff members.
