Ford says that this will lead to advantages such as a production line that’s 30 percent smaller than the ones found at traditional plants. It will be a platform for endless innovation and capability.”. The name, which stands for “Trust the Truck,” was inspired by the rallying cry of the development team.
As the result of a $5.6 billion investment, Ford’s BlueOval City will be operated by 6,000 employees and will play a crucial role in Ford’s plan to build 2 million EVs per year by 2026.
