A new mural was unveiled in Lancaster County Saturday by SACA's El Centro Hispano Facility.The mural is located at 545 Pershing Avenue in Lancaster. It was presented to the public today during a community block party.
SACA says the mural represents diversity, unity, and transformation of the neighborhood.“Anywhere from getting to know an old college to even starting a new life. And this is what the mural represents,” said SACA volunteer Kelvin Dennison.SACA said the monarch butterflies on the mural are symbolic of migration and change, as well as serving as the international symbol for mental health.
