.NickyJamPR and Anuel_2bleA teamed up for their epic new collab WhineUp
Despite the fact that they have teamed up on the same track with various artists in the past, this is their first-ever joint production.
Out Tuesday , “Whine Up,” named after the sensual Jamaican dance move, fuses Jam’s urban-pop sounds and Anuel’s street flow with infectious Dancehall and Soca rhythms. The track was recorded at Fénix Studios in San Juan, PR, under La Industria INC and Sony Music Latin. Written by Nicky and Juan Diego Medina Vélez, with production from Rafael Regginalds Aponte and Jam’s longtime producer Cristhian “Saga WhiteBlack” Mena, the song is meant to have everyone on their feet.
“The idea of ‘Whine Up’ is to get you dancing, having fun and forgetting your problems,” the Puerto Rican artist said in a press statement, stating he feels excited to share it with his fans. The music video, filmed by director Mike Ho of Cinema Giants in Miami, gives life to the title, showing both artists having fun at a vibrant block party. “Whine Up” is part of Nicky Jam’s upcoming seventh studio album, titled
