The next three weekends will have an NCAA Tournament feel for No. 1 Houston.
Beginning Saturday against Saint Mary’s, the Cougars’ schedule gets tougher with upcoming non-conference games against No. 11 Alabama and No. 3 Virginia.
The Cougars , who moved into the top spot in the nation on Monday, will face Saint Mary’s at 8:30 p.m. in the Battleground 2K22 at Dickies Arena. The first game of the doubleheader features Texas A&M and Boise State. Dickies Arena might need to be renamed Fertitta North. The Cougars are 8-0 the past two seasons at the arena, which hosts the American Athletic Conference tournament and early season showcase.
