My kids' right to breathe non-cancer causing air trumps your right to smoke. Period.
We all have freedom of choice, which is probably the best thing about a democracy, right? The right to vote, the right to practice whatever religion you choose , the right to homeschool or send your kids to public school or private school, the right to dye your hair purple or live on a boat or own 19 cats. All good stuff.If you’re choosing to breathe in toxic cancer-emphysema-COPD-causing chemicals, well, I wish you and your lungs the best of luck, because it’s your body to do with as you wish.
So yeah, if you’re choosing to smoke, I’m going to have to ask you to remove yourself from his air space and I’m not sorry about it.
