For the duet, Shawn and Camila performed on a stage lit by golden lights, and throughout their time on the stage, the two sang to one another. At multiple points, the two appeared to nearly kiss, but instead pulled away. Although they didn't share in a smooch, the two did sing with their backs to one another and held hands as they departed the stage.
Along with support for their performance from social media, it appeared that Joe Jonas was also a fan. As numerous fans pointed out on Twitter, the Jonas Brother had a huge smile on his face as the pair finished the song, and some felt it was an all too accurate representation of the feelings of viewers watching at home.
