A 4-year-old child's death is being investigated after the victim drowned at a public water park in Stephenville, Texas.
A Stephenville water park is temporarily closed after a child drowned Saturday, officials say.
Officers responded about 7:45 p.m. Saturday to Splashville Water Park in the 800 block of South Graham Avenue in response to a 911 call regarding a possible drowning victim, according to police. When they arrived, they discovered citizens and lifeguards performing CPR on a 4-year-old who was found unresponsive in the pool.The child was taken to the emergency room at Texas Health Stephenville and pronounced dead later that night, police said.
