Ohio is 104,400 jobs short of pre-pandemic levels from February 2020, according to data from the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services.
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Ohio gained jobs in October, but saw an uptick in unemployment and less people in the labor force.
The jobs count is based on the number of part- or full-time jobs located in Ohio, regardless of where a person lives. If a person is working two jobs, that person counts twice. The unemployment rate is determined by the share of Ohioans in the labor force who are employed.
