Ohio State cornerback Sevyn Banks has withdrawn from the NFL draft and put his name in the NCAA transfer portal.
The move came days after Buckeyes coach Ryan Day said Banks was “moving on” from the program after four seasons.
Banks missed the final three games last season, including the Rose Bowl against Utah. A knee injury hadHe ultimately regained a starting spot opposite freshman cornerback Denzel Burke and finished with eight tackles and a pass break-up. Banks first started as a junior in 2020 and was an honorable mention All-Big Ten selection by both the league's coaches and media.
