New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers tore his Achilles tendon on Monday.
. On his fourth snap in Monday’s opener Rodgers was sacked by Bills edge rusher Leonard Floyd, injuring his Achilles as he went down.
After Rodgers received medical attention on the field he was helped to the tent, where he was treated for eight minutes. A cart picked him up from the tent and drove him about 30 yards to the tunnel, where he got off and limped inside. The Jets announced that his X-Rays were negative, but after the game head coach Robert Saleh said it was likely the Achilles, which was confirmed the following day.
