BEREA, Ohio — “Any given Sunday” is a common phrase to describe unexpected results in the NFL. Friday night’s game between Olmsted Falls and Berea-Midpark could be placed in a similar “any given Friday” category as the host Titans upset the Bulldogs, 35-21, in the Battle of Bagley between the two Southwestern Conference rivals.
The convincing win comes just one week after Olmsted Falls , ranked No. 20 in this week’s cleveland.com Top 25, dominated Avon Lake, which defeated Berea-Midpark comfortably earlier in the year. “We were able to play well in all three phases tonight,” Berea-Midpark coach Jon Hunek said. “When we’re able to do that we’ve been successful this year, but we’ve had games where we haven’t been able to do that, so it’s great to see us building momentum down the stretch.”
