Omni Amelia Island's Sprouting Dinner Series caters to foodies
As the upscale food scene has grown around the First Coast, the Omni Amelia Island Resort has almost a decade of history in providing diners with the kind of experience that can hardly be replicated.
“Diners are very intrigued by details of where the food comes from,” said Michelle Valla, director of resort marketing for Omni Amelia Island Resort. “It is a very special experience to see a culinary team preparing the food right in front of you and learn course by course where the ingredients were sourced and how they were prepared just minutes prior.”. Each dinner is themed by a locally sourced ingredient — from potatoes to chili peppers to truffles.
"In March 2022, every dinner sold out. Each dinner had more than 70 attendees, and the exception was the Truffle series in December which are maxed at 16 guests due to their being hosted inside the greenhouse.”
