PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating a shooting involving officers near 75th Avenue and Buckeye Road Saturday morning that left one dead.
Officers received a call around 7:30 Saturday morning regarding two people refusing to get off of a bus.At that point one man got into the driver's seat of a police vehicle and began to drive off, hitting one officer. Police shot the man who stole the police vehicle and he was transported to a hospital in critical condition and later died.No information has been released as to why the two were asked to get off the bus, the relationship of the two on the bus, or why the man stole the police vehicle.
