The crash happened at the Grand Parkway and Highway 249. We're told DPS initiated the chase.
At this point, we’re working to gather information about the wreck. What we can report is that we've been told the Texas Department of Public Safety started the chase, which ended with the wreck at the Grand Parkway and Highway 249.
Right now, we don't know if the person who was killed was involved in the chase or an innocent bystander. We also don't know why troopers started the chase.KHOU 11 on social media:
