Hong Kongers took to the streets again Sunday, some 1.7 million strong. This time it wasn’t only to demonstrate their undiminished objection to a bill that would allow extradition to mainland China, which Hong Kong’s government has shelved but not entirely killed. Sunday’s march was also meant to highlight their commitment to peaceful protest.
