” : Since President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and some Democrats won’t go to the border, Govs. Ron DeSantis of Florida and Greg Abbott of Texas are bringing the border to them.Regardless of the motives, the sending of migrants to other states by the governors of Texas, Arizona and Florida are more than just political stunts.
For so long it seems the rest of the nation has had a ‘Not In My Backyard’ attitude. I am appalled by the Democratic response to the actions of border governors. They call it inhumane and cruel. Really? What about the overcrowded conditions at our borders? Overtaxing the resources of border states is fine as long as they are not affected or asked to be part of the solution. If you claim to be a sanctuary city, then why are you complaining when you have actual people on your doorstep?
