has a new beefy boy. His name is Mauga and he’s the latest tank hero. He seems pretty fun based on the little time I’ve had with him this afternoon — he’s available for everyone to play until Sunday.
Since it’s BlizzCon, Team 4 has a little more leeway to dig deep into the newcomer. The Mauga panel kicked off with the new hero’s origin video, which you can watch here: While he’s a relaxed dude these days, Mauga used to be a deadly serious warrior. But after a lengthy spell on the battlefield, he “realized something had to change.” In other words, he focused on self-improvement and “learned how to let loose with friends” i.e. Talon and his old running buddy Baptiste.fans won’t already know. But, hey, any new lore is welcome lore. Plus, the video gives us another chance to admire Blizzard’s peerless artwork.until Sunday as part of a trial weekend.
