Two former employees of Heritage Springs Memory Care in Union County are facing criminal prosecution.
LEWISBURG -- The owners, operators and managers of Heritage Springs Memory Care Center near Lewisburg have been accused in a civil suit of treating a 93-year-old female resident over the past eight months with “utter cruelty.”
The allegation is related to Buffalo Valley Regional Police charging two former employees on July 12. The suit, filed in Union County court on behalf of Alice K. Longenberger, who was diagnosed with dementia in 2018, claims she and other residents were subjected to torture for eight months.
