Paramount+ drops first steamy and suspenseful trailer for its FatalAttraction series
, starring Michael Douglas and Glenn Close, was a box office juggernaut. Making over $300 million on a budget of $14 million cemented it as a true hit, and a defining touchstone in pop culture. So, it makes sense that Paramount+ wants to bring it back, and the series’ newest trailer establishes the series as familiar and, well,a deep dive reimagining of the 1980s cultural touchstonethrough the lens of privilege, personality disorders, family dynamics and murder.
Toby Huss as Mike Gerard, Brian Goodman as Arthur Tomlinson, Alyssa Jirrels as Ellen Gallagher, and Reno Wilson as Detective Earl Brooker round out the rest of the central cast, with Alexandra Cunningham acting as writer, showrunner, and executive producer. Filled with intrigue, romance, and tension, the trailer showcases the central mystery surrounding Alex’s death and the events that led up to it, all backed by flashes of heartbreaking performances and stand-out cinematography.
