A new generation of gay men and their LGBT loved ones are ready to shine in the first trailer for Peacock's QueerasFolk revival series.
Two decades ago, Showtime was the only major cable network willing to run LGBT-themed dramas like Queer as Folk and The L Word. And while The L Word: Generation Q is currently on Showtime, the latest incarnation of Queer as Folk is ready to expand its wings at its new home at Peacock.
Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies is the creator of the original Queer as Folk for Britain’s Channel 4, and he is attached to the new series as an executive producer. Davies also shared his excitement to see his show live again.

Peacock's Queer as Folk Reboot Drops Full Trailer with Pulse-Inspired TragedyA reimagining of the original British series -- which got an American version in 2000 -- follows 'a diverse group of friends in New Orleans whose lives are transformed in the aftermath of a tragedy.' Creator Stephen Dunn, who met with survivors of the Pulse shooting in Orlando, told THR the show is 'inspired by the realities of what that was like -- not just that night, but the aftermath and the way that the community of Orlando rebuilt in the wake of that tragedy.'
