Decades after funding was approved to restore the Forum office building, the Pennsylvania Department of Education now calls that building home.
The department’s deputy secretary for the administration, Marcus A. Delgado, said Tuesday’s ribbon cutting at the Forum was an exciting day for the department. The Forum office building was the original home of PDE up until 1979. PDE made the move from 333 Market Street in Harrisburg. “We’re excited we’re able to rehab this building and not have to demolish it, or build a new building,” Delgado said.According to the Delgado, the Department of Governmental Services handled the funding for the project.
