State Police say a 44-year-old man died after he was fatally struck by a blue Ford F-150 that veered into the shoulder and hit him on Saturday night. The search for the vehicle and the driver involved is ongoing.

Caprice Pinkard, Maurice's wife, said she ran out of gas on I-95 just before the Highland Avenue exit. Maurice, a father of 6 children, came to fill-up the tank when he was fatally struck. According to police, the blue F-150 continued driving onto Exit 3. Investigators have talked to a witness and obtained surveillance footage from a nearby Sunoco gas station.
