Pet Sematary's prequel arrives October 6.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT A new video highlighting what to expect from Pet Sematary: Bloodlines reveals part of Stephen King's original novel will be adapted in the film. The prequel movie to 2019's Pet Sematary follows a young Jud Crandall as paranormal events begin transpiring around a cemetery for pets in the woods. Despite pulling some elements from King's book, the story itself is expected to be original to the film.
In addition, the video reveals the movie will unearth the origins of Ludlow, Maine and Jud's connection to them. It teases a similar horror as the first movie, only set decades prior.
