CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Peter Gabriel is bringing his upcoming i/o tour to North America in September. Gabriel’s tour will coincide with the release of his 10th studio album “i/o,” to be released later in 2023. Shows on the East Coast that have been announced so far, include Boston, Philadelphia, Toronto, New York and Chicago. Tickets for those shows go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 10.
More dates will be announced soon including shows in Cleveland, Columbus, Buffalo, Pittsburgh and Detroit. Gabriel hasn’t performed in Cleveland since his 2002 “Up” tour. Gabriel, a two-time Rock Hall inductee with Genesis in 2010 and as a solo artist in 2014, has released three singles from “i/o,” including “Panopticom,” “The Court” and “Playing For Time.” The album will be Gabriel’s first of all-new material since “UP” released more than 20 years ago. His last two releases, “Scratch My Back” and “New Blood,” were covers and reworkings of songs from his back catalog.
