Angled parking, however, given the limited space, likely means eliminating at least one lane of traffic. Yet city hall administration recommends the entire stretch of Second Avenue between 23rd Street and 25th Street be considered for redesign, for consistency. If Second Avenue is redesigned for consistency, it would reduce vehicle traffic to one lane in each direction throughout that stretch of the downtown.
