Brooklyn Nets was sold to Alibaba’s Joe Tsai for $2.35 billion in 2019, the highest amount an NBA team had ever sold for. Now, the record will be shattered once more.
The NBA’s Phoenix Suns franchise will be sold to Mat Ishbia, the billionaire CEO of Pontiac, Mich.–based United Wholesale Mortgage UWMC, -3.51%, for around $4 billion, according to a report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
