Pixar's latest film is a romantic comedy in a world where everyone is made of a different element, showcasing the love story between fire element Ember and water element Wade . The film debuted on Rotten Tomatoes with a score of 57% based on 7 critic reviews.
Now, Rotten Tomatoes lists Elemental as having a score of 80% on the website based on 44 critic reviews, a 23% jump for the film. However, even if Elemental doesn't make a lot of money at the box office, it could still find popularity and success on Disney+ after its theatrical run. It would not a first for an animated movie from Disney, such as when box office failure Strange World became No. 1 on Disney+ the week it debuted on the platform.
