The most recent version of Plano’s proposed ordinance, according to the City Council agenda memo for the item, stated that STR registration will identify the existence and location of active STRs and host rules for the property, in addition to ownership management and designated contacts.
One short-term rental host, Corey Reinaker, expressed during the City Council meeting his concerns about how the registration ordinance impacted privacy.
