Lighter rainfall along the I-95 corridor may mean higher amounts east and west.
With the probability we don’t again see meaningful rain chances until the upcoming weekend, here’s a look at rainfall accumulation estimates from the rainfall today into tonight. Notice how, unfortunately, there’s a bit of a split along I-95, with lighter accumulations. Luckily, even the lighter corridor of rain isn’t zero rain.
This should help prevent drought conditions from growing or getting worse this week; but, unfortunately, it may be our only needed rain for many days as high pressure builds in starting tomorrow. Be sure to come chatduring our weekly Sunday Sunset Live Q&A and we’ll hunt for more rain chances. Tune in at 7:14 p.m.
