neighborhood is in shock after three people were shot overnight in a deli, one of them fatally.
Only 45 minutes into a new day, gunshots rang out on Burnside Avenue just off of Jerome Avenue in the Mount Hope section of the borough. The deli Phillips frequents is now the center of an ongoing investigation. Police said the suspect shot through the window from outside the store, hitting a 34-year-old man in the arm and a 34-year-old woman in the torso.
