A San Antonio man is facing multiple charges of child pornography after investigators allegedly found videos of sexual abuse involving infants linked to him.
Aaron James Moreno, 28, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of 10 counts of possession of child pornography. He is being held on $50,000 bail. On Jan. 6, 2022, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reported to the Texas Attorney General’s law enforcement division that three files of child pornography had been uploaded to DropBox, an affidavit supporting Moreno’s arrest said.One of the files, a 42-second video, showed a child under 1 year old being sexually assaulted, the affidavit said.
Investigators determined that the DropBox account was registered to Moreno and that the account had been accessed from his IP address. On Feb. 7, investigators went to Moreno’s San Antonio home and asked him whether they could search the photos on his phone. During the search, investigators found multiple images of child pornography involving infants and toddlers, the affidavit said.
