Police found the 154 1-gallon milk jugs filled with gasoline about 12 hours before a fire broke out at the property. One more fire at the home has been reported since then.

Officials discovered the gasoline at the home in the 100 block of North 59th Street on Monday, Aug. 1 and were able to remove the 154 milk jugs of fuel,A fire was reported at the same house in March,Philadelphia police have identified 37-year-old Darren Arnold as a suspect in the gasoline and fire cases, accused of arson and related offenses, connected to “several incidents” at the home between Aug. 1 and 2, Fox29 reported.

WPVI spoke with Arnold after the gasoline was discovered. He said his family owned the house. He also said he had nothing to do with it and was going to work to find out who brought the milk jugs to the home. that Arnold used to live at the home before it first caught fire in March, but it has been vacant since then.Anyone with information about Arnold’s whereabouts should contact Philadelphia police’s Southwest Detectives Division at 215-686-3183/3184 or 911.
