Police Tuesday were searching for a white pickup truck after a fatal hit-and-run crash along State Highway 59 near in southwest Houston. Officers around 11:45 p.m. responded to the highway, near the intersection with Bissonnet Street near Beltway 8 in response to a report of a body in the roadway, Sgt. David Rose, of the Houston Police Department, told Metro Video Services reporters.Witnesses said two brothers had been driving and stopped along the southbound service road, Rose said. One of the brothers was upset about recent events in his life and decided to throw a pallet of wood into the road.
