In another Twitter post, Popeyes told customers they could receive push notifications on its app when the sandwich becomes available again. And, Popeyes tweaked Chick-fil-A in its social media, leading to the week of the Great Fried Chicken Sandwich Wars. And, there were rumors of would-be entrepreneurs buying up dozens of sandwiches and then trying to re-sell them at a profit.
