The U.S. Forest Service closed two popular hiking trails in Cleveland National Forest due to concerns about excessive heat this week.
Areas that include Three Sisters Falls and Cedar Creek Falls, near Ramona, were closed on June 30, according to orders posted on the U.S. Forest Service website.Advertisement The current closure orders end Wednesday. According to the orders, people who ignore the closures may be fined up to $5,000.
