Tommy Oliver, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers’ Green Ranger, went from an evil Ranger to one of the most important characters in the franchise.
Billy Is The Mentor In Power Rangers Cosmic Fury David Yost’s Billy, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers’ Blue Ranger, will be a recurrent character in Power Rangers Cosmic Fury. Billy, who even appears in the Cosmic Fury intro, will serve as a mentor to the Power Rangers. The Cosmic Fury team is the same one as Power Rangers Dino Fury, albeit with a few differences. While the Cosmic Fury Power Rangers have been superheroes since Dino Fury season 1, their experience does not compare to Billy’s.
Original Green Ranger Tommy Led Several Power Rangers Teams After losing his Green Ranger powers, Tommy was given the White Light to become the White Ranger. Zordon was aware that Jason was going to exit the, at least from an in-universe perspective, leading White Ranger Tommy to be instantly promoted to leader. The White Ranger remained as the leader until Mighty Morphin Power Rangers season 3 ended.
Tommy & Billy Are Now The Only OG Rangers To Have Mentored Other Teams Until now, Tommy Oliver was the only one of the original Power Rangers to have mentored another team. This now changes with Billy returning for Cosmic Fury. Granted, Billy briefly played a Zordon-type role at the beginning of Power Rangers Zeo. However, the Zeo team was essentially the same as the one from Mighty Morphin season 3, except for the Yellow Ranger.
