Winslow scored 22 points in the second quarter to seize command
Kameron Brown led the Winslow rushing attack with 150 yards on 19 carries in Saturday's Central Jersey, Group 4 quarterfinal against Pennsauken.Led by the combination of Kameron Brown, NaKeem Powell and Deante Ruffin, Winslow put together a dominant running attack Saturday en route to a 46-14 victory over visiting Pennsauken in the NJSIAA/Rothman Orthopaedics Central Jersey, Group 4 quarterfinals.
The top seed, Winslow won its third in a row. The Eagles will host fourth-seeded Hammonton in a sectional semifinal Friday night. Pennsauken came in as the eighth seed.Ruffin also had a solid game through the air, completing 10-of-15 passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns. He connected with Cam Miller on a 24-yard TD and added a 36-yard scoring strike. Miller finished with five catches for 85 yards.
Elijah Jennings led Pennsauken with 131 yards on 23 carries. The Monmouth commit scored both of his team’s touchdowns, plays covering 40 and 17 yards.
